Lucas Glover vaults up World Rankings

Lucas Glover holed a miraculous bunker shot on the 72nd hole for birdie on Sunday to win the Funai Classic. The win helped Glover jump 79 spots to No. 68 in the latest world golf rankings.

Spaniard Jose Maria Olazabal claimed the Mallorca Classic in Europe and moved up 10 spaces to 28th in the world.

World No. 1 Tiger Woods and second-ranked Vijay Singh each missed the cut at FUNAI, and with that there was no movement in the top-10.

Woods and Singh were followed by Phil Mickelson, Retief Goosen, Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia, Jim Furyk, Adam Scott, Chris DiMarco and David Toms.

Angel Cabrera improved one slot to 11, while Kenny Perry slipped to 12. A pair of Europeans exchanged the 13th and 14th positions with Padraig Harrington moving to 13 and Luke Donald dropping to 14.

Scotsman Colin Montgomerie improved one notch to 15th this week, while U.S. Open champion Michael Campbell fell to 16. Davis Love III held on the 17th position.

David Howell jumped two spaces to 18th and was followed by Tim Clark. Ulsterman Darren Clarke tumbled two slots to 20th this week.
