Senior British Open goes to Royal Aberdeen

The Senior British Open Championship, the fulcrum of the European Seniors Tour season will have a new venue this year, the historic Royal Aberdeen Golf Club playing host to the tournament from July 21-24..

Jointly sanctioned by the European Seniors Tour, the R&A and the Champions Tour, the Senior British Open Championship boasts the biggest overall prize fund in European Seniors Tour golf of £1 million, a winner's cheque of £157,800, and a 144-strong field featuring the players from across the world.
