Gordon Sherry sets up Gingergolf

Gordon Sherry, a former Amateur champion and Walker Cup player, now a PGA professional, has set up Gingergolf in association with prodreamUSA. Gordon will be providing top-class coaching to individuals or groups and relaying his experience and knowledge of tournament golf.

“Over the years I’ve learned through the coaching I’ve received that there’s more to playing top-level golf than just having a solid swing. That does not mean having a repeatable swing is not important. I believe there are four keys required to achieve success, each one being given the same importance.”

· Swing/Ball striking
· Short game skills
· Mental/Course management
· Physical conditioning/Fitness

“However, developing into a top player takes a golfer into numerous areas that are either ignored or unknown. It is my aim to pass on this hidden information along with the four keys which can enable aspiring golfers to realise their goals.”

Gordon will initially be running the GordonSherryprodreamUSA golf schools at Inverclyde, Largs. These schools will be for young golfers who want to take their games to a new level. Youngsters who have decided to further their academic and golfing lives in the United States, or are considering going down that path, will benefit greatly from these schools. This applies to any aspiring, young golfers wishing to raise their game and learn what it takes to reach the top

Having enjoyed top-level amateur golf and played with some of the world’s best players, Gordon is uniquely qualified to provide the highest level of coaching and advice to golfers who seriously want to further their games.

“A lot of the work will be done on the golf course, after all that is where we play golf, not on the range.”

Gordon is also available for after-dinner speaking engagements and corporate golf days.
