Eric Axley wins Texas Open and climbs to world number 224

Eric Axley captured the Valero Texas Open title on the PGA Tour with a three stroke win over Justin Rose, Dean Wilson and Anthony Kim. With his maiden PGA Tour win left-handed Alex climbs to World Number 224, an improvement of 271 positions.

Yang Yong-Eun won the KOLON-Hana Korea Open on the Asian Tour. He is now World Number 80.

Mamo Osanai defeated Taichi Teshima in a play-off for the Acom International on the Japan Golf Tour and is now placed in 210th position on the Official World Golf Ranking.

This week's other winners were Cliff Kresge at the Oregon Classic on the Nationwide Tour and Adrien Mork at the Oki Mahou Challenge de Espana on the European Challenge Tour.
