Britain's Ryder Cup player Ian Poulter will receive no disciplinary action after wearing an Arsenal soccer shirt during the Abu Dhabi Championship earlier this month, a European Tour spokesman said on Wednesday.
The Tour's players' committee met ahead of this week's Dubai Desert Classic to discuss Poulter's dress which raised eyebrows in the third round of the United Arab Emirates event.
The 30-year-old, who finished 19th in the 2005 Order of Merit, is noted for his flamboyant dress sense and two years ago wore a Union Jack outfit at the British Open at Royal Troon.
He is paired with Welshman Stephen Dodd and former champion Mark O'Meara for this week's event at the Emirates Golf Club.
