Ireland's Padraig Harrington lifted the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship trophy
for the second time in four years with a bogey free final round
of 68 over the Old Course at St. Andrews giving him a five stroke
victory over Welshman Bradley Dredge, American Edward Loar and England's
Anthony Wall. Harrington climbs to World Number 12 a jump of seven
positions.
Davis Love-III ended a three-year run without a win when he won
the Chrysler Classic at Greensboro at Forest Oaks Country Club,
a course which he helped redesign in 2003. Love's position in the
Official World Golf Ranking improves from 26th to 19th with this
win.
This week's other winners were Lin Wen-Tang at the Taiwan Open
on the Asian Tour, Kevin Na at the Mark Christopher Charity Classic
on the Nationwide Tour and Julien Foret at the Golf Open International
de Toulouse on the European Challenge Tour.
