Buick giving away Tiger Woods' cars

Even people who don't follow golf will have some incentive to cheer for Tiger Woods this year.

Every time he wins a 2006 PGA Tour event this season, General Motors Corp.'s Buick Division will give away a Buick Lucerne CXS luxury sedan driven by Woods to, from and during that tournament.

The "Tiger Wins, You Could Win" promotion begins with the Buick Invitational, scheduled for Thursday through Sunday at La Jolla, Calif., and concludes with the PGA Championship in August.

Consumers must register at www.buick.com each week Woods plays for a chance to win. Following every Woods victory, Buick will award his Lucerne courtesy car to one entrant chosen at random.

Buick supplies courtesy vehicles for players and tournament officials at more than 20 PGA Tour stops. Besides the Buick Invitational, GM's Buick Division will sponsor two other PGA Tour events in 2006: the Buick Championship at the TPC at River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn., June 29-July 2; and the Buick Open at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc Aug. 3-6.

Woods signed his first endorsement deal with Buick in 1999.
