Woods makes it five as Stenson climbs to no. 11

The World Number One, Tiger Woods, shot a final round of 63 at the Deutsche Bank Championship, surpassing Vijay Singh in the final round to collect his fifth title in as many starts. Woods had 6 consecutive PGA TOUR wins in 1999-2000 but in between he was 6th in the Johnnie Walker Classic after the fourth win, so this is the first time he has won five consecutive OWGR events in his career.

Henrik Stenson of Sweden conjured up a stunning eagle three at the first play-off hole at Golfclub Munchen-Nord, Eichenried, to capture the BMW International Open from South African Retief Goosen and Ireland's Padraig Harrington. Stenson climbs 6 places in the Official World Golf Ranking to 11th.

Shingo Katayama won the Fujisankei Classic on the Japan Golf Tour and moves to World Number 44, and improvement of 6 places.

This week's other winners were Gavin Coles at the Legend Financial Group Classic on the Nationwide Tour, Anton Haig at the Pulai Springs Malaysian Classic on the Asian Tour, Rafael Echenique at the Telia Waxholm Challenge on the European Challenge Tour and Stuart Anderson at the Canadian Tour Championship.
