Trevor Immelman up to World No.15

Trevor Immelman from South Africa won the Cialis Western Open at Cog Hill G&CC with a final round of 67 for a 2 stroke victory over World Number One Tiger Woods and Australian Matthew Goggin. Immelman, who has won three times on the European Tour, moves up 14 places to World Number 15 with his maiden PGA Tour win.

Stephen Dodd won the Smurfit Kappa European Open over the Smurfit Course at the K Club in County Kildare, Ireland. This is Dodd’s third European Tour victory and his second in Ireland. He climbs to World Number 60, an improvement of 68 places.

On the Japan Golf Tour Tetsuji Hiratsuka won the Woodone Open Hiroshima and climbs 41 positions to World Number 138.

Sam Walker won the Scottish Challenge on the European Challenge Tour and climbs 250 places to World Number 434.
