NY, 19th May - Tiger Woods has been signed up by American Express
as its spokesman worldwide.
According to
Brandweek, an American trade magazine, the deal is for five
years and is worth $30 million.
American Express
has announced that it's first commercial featuring Woods will be
American Express Financial Advice and will be aired in late summer.
The first print advertisement featuring Tiger Woods is expected
to appear in major newspapers in the US next week.
Tiger won the
Byron Nelson Classic last Sunday, the first event he played in since
winning The Masters in April. His winning cheque of $324,000 took
his career earnings over the $2 million mark making him the fastest
and the youngest to do this in professional golf.
