8th April - Jose Marie Olazabal's comeback continues to gather
pace and following his entry to the US Masters this week he has
announced that he will play in the English Open next month. The
tournament takes place at the new venue of Hanbury Manor in Hertfordshire
from 15th - 18th May.
Olazabal playing
in Augusta this week started his comeback at the Dubai Desert Classic
in February finishing in joint eighth position.
He was fourth
in the Portuguese Open and then captured a surprise win a week later
in the Turespana Masters.
Last Sunday,
here in America he tied for 7th in the McDermott Classic in New
Orleans. Since returning to tournament play in February he has played
16 rounds and was 51 under par at the completion of the McDermott
Classic.
