Spain, 23rd April - Seve Ballesteros has not yet decided whether
he will become Europe's first player as the Ryder Cup captain. He
was speaking on the eve of the Spanish Open when he did not rule
out the idea of him being in the team even though he has not made
the cut in six events this year.
He told the
assembled media that he would make the decision when the BMW Invitational
is over and the team announced after 31st August, not before.
"It's
going to be difficult to qualify for the team but I always have
the chance to pick myself," he said.
