Australian Open champion
Aaron Baddeley will play in the US Masters in April.
The 18-year-old from Melbourne's
Croydon Golf Club only received the official letter from the Masters Committee
this morning.
Baddeley said South African
great Gary Player told him the Augusta National Course suited his game and he
gives himself a decent chance of winning.
The teenager will play two
US tour events as a lead-up to the Masters and is also hoping for invitations
to the British Open and the US Open next year.
At Royal Sydney last month,
Baddeley became the first amateur in almost 40 years to win the Australian Open.
