Crenshaw calls meeting over Ryder payment row

US Ryder Cup skipper Ben Crenshaw has called a special meeting to try to ease the row over some of his players wanting payment next month.

He has asked his side to gather next Tuesday before the USPGA championship in Chicago.

The double Masters champion said: "The Europeans are laughing at us because they are united. This bothers me because it is not doing any good for our team."
