Quinn wins again after finishing 65

Fran Quinn became only the second player ever to win back-to-back events on the Asian PGA Davidoff Tour by triumphing in the $500,000 Omega PGA Championship at Mission Hills Golf Club on Sunday.

The 34-year-old American, winner of last week's Mittweida Thailand Open, fired a closing 7-under-par 65 to finish on 18-under 270 to beat Scotland's Simon Yates, who closed with a 68, by three strokes.

"I am absolutely delighted," said Quinn. "I played really well last week, and I was playing with an awful lot of confidence when I came here. When I saw the course here, I knew I had a chance to do well. It's a long course that suits ball strikers."

"If I had got my TOUR card, I would not have come here," he said. "It was really tough after the qualifying school. It was extremely disappointing. I was sitting on the couch at home and saw my wife come in with five bags full of Christmas presents, so I figure I'd better come over and play here," said Quinn,
