Major winners Jose Maria
Olazabal and Paul Lawrie have committed to play in the Dubai Desert Classic next
March.
Masters hero Olazabal, the 1998 Dubai winner, said: "I'm looking forward to using
the event to help jump-start my season - it comes a few weeks before the Masters."
Open champion Lawrie said: "I can't wait to begin the 2000 season -hopefully
with a good start in Dubai."
