American Jay Horton
shot a third successive 69 Saturday to win the 1999 European Seniors Tour
Qualifying School.
Horton finished at
10-under-par and one stroke ahead of Seiji Ebihara. David Creamer and Nick
Job and Priscillo Diniz tied on 6-under-par, with Creamer taking the third-place
ranking with his lower final round of 68.
Job, a former European
Tour player, birdied his final two holes for his 69 to earn full playing
rights in next year's £3-million tour.
Job said: "That was
the most important putt I have had to hole for a long time.
"I can't recall having
to finish a round with so much at stake. I feel I have really earned the
right to be back in tournament golf."
