Greg Norman and Ernie Els have already confirmed they will play in the Heineken Classic at the
Vines Resort in Perth, Western Australia in January.
Former winner Thomas
Bjorn, defending champion Jarrod Moseley and leading Australian Craig Parry
have also committed to play in the Aus$1.6 million event.
The organisers hope
to announce at least one more big-name player for the field and are currently
talking to Nick Faldo, Open champion Paul Lawrie, Masters winner Jose Maria
Olazabal, Carlos Franco and John Daly.
