New UK Professional tour launched

A new professional golf tour is to be launched in the British Isles, offering an initial prize fund of over £650,000 next year.

English businessman Peter Little, whose sons Sam and Jamie compete on the TearDrop Tour in Florida, and Irish-born promoter Dara O'Neill are behind the venture.

The first event is scheduled for Mill Ride near Ascot on October 12-14 this year with a first prize of £10,000.
