Jack Nicklaus is working on a new development that will have 500 homes and a golf course incorporating his favorite hole designs.
The 574-acre development along the Chattahoochee River will be called Edinburgh. Construction is to begin next year, and the homes will range from $250,000 to $1 million.
Nicklaus' golf development company, Golden Bear International, is teaming with Dallas-based ClubCorp Inc. on the project.
The course will be one of two in the nation using the "Bear's Best" concept, which draws from more than 150 Nicklaus-designed courses. The other is in Las Vegas.
