Price hit by
sinus problems again
JOHANNESBURG -- A recurring
sinus problem may keep Nick Price from playing in this week's Players Championship
in Durban.
Doctors have advised Price
not to travel from his home in Jupiter Island, Fla., because of severe sinustis.
"It's just something I
have to watch," Price said. "I think with the warm weather in south Florida,
it's flared up again. My health is No. 1. It always has been."
Officials said Price and
his doctors would make a decision Tuesday on whether he was well enough to travel
by air. Price was also scheduled to defend his title in the Dimension Data Pro-Am
the first week of February.
Price missed a number of
tournaments in the past few years because of similar problems, including the
1996 U.S. Open.
