The European Seniors Tour is to have its first matchplay tournament next year.
The event, with sponsorship fromSSL
International,Sodexho Alliance, The Daily Telegraph
and the Algarve Tourist Board, will be held at Penina, Portugal in October
2000 with a prize fund of around £100,000.
The leading 32 tour players on the official money list will qualify
