Record prize fund
for 2000 Turespana Masters
The BBVA Open Turespana
Masters de Madrid at the Club de Campo will carry a record prize fund of
over £630,000.
It will be the first European Tour tournament to be held at the Madrid
club since Padraig Harrington won the Peugeot Open de Espana in 1996.
The European Tour's executive director Ken Schofield said: "We are delighted
the Tour will be returning to the Spanish capital."
