South Africa's Doug McGuigan and Brazilian Adilson Da Silva booked places at this year's British Open by sharing the honours at the qualifying tournament in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
McGuigan and Da Silva fired matching rounds of four-under-par 68 on the West Course at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club to finish at 10-under 134.
Australia's Terry Pilkadaris eagled the last for a 68 to join South African Desvonde Botes (62) as the two other qualifiers for the July Open, to be held at Carnoustie, Scotland.
Pilkadaris, a three-times winner on the Asian Tour, was delighted after securing a maiden spot in the world's oldest championship.
"I can hardly believe it, I don't think it has quite sunk in yet," the 33-year-old told reporters after finishing on nine-under 135. "I'm going to the Open. At Carnoustie.
"I knew it would take a solid round and a low score to beat the competition," added the Australian, who birdied 15 and 16 before holing from six feet on the 18th green.
The South African event was the first of five international final qualifiers with Australasia, Asia, Europe and America
