Richard Green returns to world top 50 at 39th

Australian Richard Green claimed his second European Tour title, the BA-CA Open, presented by Telekom Austria at Fontana Golf Club near Vienna, as he overcame Jean-Francois Remesy at the first extra hole. Green makes a return to the World Top 50 with a 26 place jump to World Number 37.

Woody Austin shot an 8-under-par 62 to win the Stanford St. Jude Championship by five shots at TPC Southwind on the PGA Tour. Austin, who began the final round four shots behind third round leader Adam Scott, climbs 92 places in the Official World Golf Ranking to 81st.

On the Asian Tour Lee Sung won the Bangkok Airways Open at Santiburi Samui CC by three strokes. He improves his World Ranking by 191 positions to 248th.

This week's other winners were Kyle Thompson at the Rex Hospital Open on the Nationwide Tour and Joost Luiten at the Vodafone Challenge on the European Challenge Tour.
