Baddeley cements world no.18 spot
Aaron Baddeley thrilled his home crowd by winning the MasterCard Masters title defeating Sweden's Daniel Chopra at the fourth extra play-off hole at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne after the pair had tied on thirteen-under-par 275. Baddeley, who began the year as World Number 87, maintains his positon as World Number 18.
On the Japan Golf Tour Taichi Teshima shot a seven-under-par final round of 65 to pass overnight leader Chris Campbell and win the Casio World Open. Teshima climbs 73 places to World Number 149.
Thailand’s Chapchai Nirat claimed a two-shot victory in the inaugural Hana Bank Vietnam Masters after a closing five-under-par 67 which included three birdies over his last four holes at Hanoi Phoenix Golf Resort. The win takes Nirat to World Number 153 and improvement of 54 places.
