Paul Casey climbs to career high 13th

Paul Casey from England picked up his eighth European Tour International Schedule victory at the Abu Dhabi Championship, his fourth European Tour win in his last 27 European Tour starts.

Casey won by a stroke from Miguel Angel Jimenez and Peter Hanson following a closing round of 65. Casey achieves a career high position in the Official World Golf Ranking of 13th, a jump of one spot from last week.

On a windy final day at the Classic Club in California, Charley Hoffman eagled the 18th to get into a playoff then birdied the same hole beat John Rollins on the first extra hole to claim his first PGA Tour win at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Hoffman climbs 105 places to World Number 92 while Rollins breaks into the World Top 100 in 85th position.

Malaysia's Airil Rizman Zahari claimed his maiden Asian Tour title with a two stroke triumph at the Pakistan Open, the opening event on the 2007 Asian Tour. Airil takes a leap of 699 places in the Official World Golf Ranking to 407th.
