Ernie Els produced a near faultless final round of 67 over the Champion Course at the PGA National Resort and Spa to win the Honda Classic by a stroke from England's Luke Donald.
It was Els' first win on the PGA Tour since 2004 when he won three times. Donald birdied the 16th to move within one of Els but his birdie chips from the fringes of the 17th and 18th holes both stayed out meaning Els was the champion and up a spot to world number three, displacing Steve Stricker.
New Zealander Mark Brown won the Johnnie Walker Classic at DLF Golf and Country Club in New Delhi for his second tournament victory in as many weeks, after last week's win at the Asia Tour's SAIL Open, both tournaments played in India.
Brown fired a 5-under par 67 in the final round to finish with a total 18-under 270, winning by three strokes. This burst of great form has propelled Brown to world number 64, a jump of 115 places on the week and 258 since the end of 2007.
