Kelly enters top 100 - Jaidee cracks top 50

Jerry Kelly ended seven years without a victory when he captured the Zurich Classic of New Orleans at TPC Louisiana on the PGA Tour by a single stroke. Kelly offset bogeys on No. 8 and No. 10 with birdies on Nos. 5, 11 and 14 for a 1-under-par 71 in the final round. He finished with a 274, one stroke ahead of Charles Howell-III, Charlie Wie and Rory Sabbatini. It was the 42-year-old Wisconsin player's first PGA Tour title since he won twice in 2002 and moves him to 78th in the Official World Golf Ranking, an improvement of 63 positions.

Thongchai Jaidee won the Ballantine’s Championship, a European/Asian Tour co-sanctioned event, following a play-off at Jeju Island's Pinx Golf Club. The 39-year-old Thai clinched his fourth European Tour title and record twelfth Asian Tour title when he made birdie on the par-four 18th, after shooting a two under par round of 70 to move into joint first alongside Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño and local player Kang Sung-hoon on four under overall. Jaidee hit a glorious second shot to around 4 feet and the resulting birdie was enough to win. Jaidee jumps into the World Top 50 with a 24 spot improvement to World Number 49.

This week's other winners were Masaya Tomida at the Tsuruya Open on the Japan Tour, Garth Mulroy at the South Georgia Classic Pres'd by First State Bank and Trust Company on the Nationwide Tour and Mauricio Molina at the Corona Mazatlan Classic Mexican PGA Championship on the Canadian Tour
