Nathan Green bags first victory and top 150 spot

Nathan Green beat Retief Goosen in a sudden-death play-off on Monday to win the rain-delayed RBC Canadian Open. After both players finished on 18 under par for the four rounds of regulation play, Green claimed his first PGA Tour victory at the second extra hole - the 17th - where Goosen found trouble off the tee and ended up missing a nine-foot putt to save par and extend the play-off. Green climbs 140 places in the Official World Golf Ranking to 150th while Goosen jumps up 2 spots to World Number 19.

Argentina's Ricardo Gonzalez, without a top-10 finish all season, grabbed his fourth European Tour title in simply stunning fashion in Malmo. Five birdies in the final six holes - and this on the longest course in Tour history - gave the 39-year-old a two-stroke victory over Welshman Jamie Donaldson at the SAS Masters. Gonzalez improves his Official World Golf Ranking by 154 positions to 162nd.

This week's other winners were Hiroyuki Fujita at the Nagashima Shigeo Invitational Sega Sammy Cup on the Japan Tour, Rich Barcelo at the Cox Classic presented by Lexus of Omaha on the Nationwide Tour, Gaganjeet Bhullar at the Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational on the Asian Tour and Rhys Davies at the SWALEC Wales Challenge on the Challenge Tour.
