Managing Director Golf - Salary: circa £60,000 per annum -
Location: South East / Central England

Glendale Golf is one of the business activities of Glendale, the "green services" division of Parkwood Holdings plc. Glendale Golf offers a complete management and maintenance service to municipal and private golf courses. Responsible for the strategic and operational management of the current portfolio of ten golf courses, the Managing Director Golf will lead the growth of the Glendale Golf business and secure new business opportunities. This includes the management of investment of over £7 million in the current golf courses.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Glendale Managed Services, the successful candidate will demonstrate significant operational experience in the Golf industry including strong sales and marketing skills. With the ability to lead a geographically diverse team, you will be financially astute and have proven commercial acumen. You should hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification. Extensive UK travel will be required.

Glendale has revenues of £45 million and operates throughout the UK. Glendale's activities include grounds management, countryside management, landscaping, horticulture and golf course management. This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of these activities.

Junior Sales/Account Handler - PremierPlan Golf Design & Print

PremierPlan Golf Design & Print are looking for an entry level B2B Junior Sales/Account Handler, expected to build relationships with decision makers in golf clubs across the UK.

The successful candidate will be expected to understand the customer's needs and match those to our range of printed products. You will be generating leads and researching business opportunities using online resources, directories and the in house customer database.

Computer literacy is essential, as you must keep accurate records of your contacts and contact details made using the in house database, analyse the information, producing reports as required by Sales Manager or Directors.

This job is office based (Dartford, Kent), working within a small team. The role would also occasionally involve visiting golf clubs when assisting with course surveys and measurements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in sales or telesales.

Interest and knowledge of Golf.

Good level of computer literacy including Excel and Word, also Filemaker database an advantage.

Basic salary + commission

West Middlesex Golf Club, a member's golf club in Middlesex is looking for an experienced Administrator. Principally the Administrator enables the golf club to run smoothly while acting as Secretary to the Committee.

The Administrator will also work closely with the Marketing and Golf manager.

The role needs proven administrative ability, interpersonal skills, ability to finish tasks effectively. This is a hands on position where much of the work has to be done by the job holder.

Corporate Golf Manager

The Manor House Golf Club situated in the beautiful village of Castle Combe is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Corporate Golf Manager. The Club is currently number 1 in Wiltshire and number 95 in the Top 100 Courses in the UK!

This role is instrumental in the Golf Club and therefore requires someone with extensive sales experience, an understanding of the golf industry and the game, the ability to play golf will be a distinct advantage!
