Golf Club Administration & Promotions Officer

Peover Golf Club Ltd is wishing to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic person to join the team. The position requires dealing with members and visitors; therefore it is important to have a friendly personality & good communicating skills which will reflect the image of the club in the best possible light.

The role requires proven sales, administration and marketing experience, interpersonal skills and an ability to meet deadlines, and achieve set targets. A working knowledge of computers email and software packages is required together with a good standard of numeracy & literacy, the ability to handle both telephone and personal enquires in a positive and courteous manner is also essential. Other responsibilities will include:

•  Pro-actively monitor membership and pay & play. Take action to ensure membership and visitor numbers are maximised.

•  Manage the computerised membership (BRS) system, and provide accurate statistical information on subscriptions, visitors, green fees, payments etc.

•  Submit a weekly activity report indicating revenues and best practice.

•  Keep abreast of the competition; their facilities, marketing initiatives, membership & visitor rates.

•  Organise golf events to create awareness of the Club to potential new members and visitors. Be creative and feel comfortable to voice own ideas.

•  Be able to work up to four days a weekend including some weekends.

This is an exciting hands-on position and a great opportunity for the right candidate. A competitive rate of pay is offered for this position.
