Harrington takes two shot lead into last day

Ireland's Padraig Harrington shot a 1-under-par 71 today to take a two-stroke lead after the third round of the Rio de Janeiro 500 Years Open, the first PGA European Tour event in South America.

"Being two ahead is not the issue," Harrington said. "Now there are about 10 players who can come out firing with a chance to win."

Harrington, who shot a 62 on Friday, had a 16-under 200 total on the Itanhanga course. Scotland's Alastair Forsyth, the second-round leader after a 62, was second after a 75.

"It was a struggle, but I'm not out of it," Forsyth said. "That's the positive thing. Padraig hasn't run away with it."

Sweden's Robert Karlsson (67), Switzerland's Paolo Quirici (69) and Argentina's Jorge Berendt (69) were tied for third at 203.
