Weather the winner on day two

Second round action at the $400,000 BUY.COM Greater Cleveland Open was stopped at 4:36 p.m. ET on Friday due to rain and lightning, and then suspended for the day at 6:50 p.m. ET after the course received more than seven-tenths of an inch of rain and was deemed unplayable for the rest of the day.

The second round will resume at Quail Hollow Country Club in Concord, Ohio, at 8 a.m. ET on Saturday. The cut will be made at the conclusion of the second round, and the third round is expected to get under way at approximately 11:30 a.m. ET. Split tees will be used for the third round, with the lowest scores in the field going off the No. 1 tee last.

The second round began with 153 golfers. Seventy-five golfers completed their second round of play, 75 more golfers were left on the course and there were three withdrawals.

When play was suspended, Tjaart van der Walt (68) and Anthony Painter (70) were tied at the top of the leaderboard at 10-under-par. Rod Pampling is in third at 8-under-par with one hole to play after recording three birdies and an eagle over his last four holes.
