 NOTES:
Three shots off the pace when Sunday's final round began, Fran
Quinn carded a five-under 66 to post a three shot win over third-round
leader Mark Hensby. Quinn was the only player in the field to post all
four rounds in the 60's, as he won for the second time on the BUY.COM
Tour. Hensby, who fell out of the lead on the 11th hole, closed with a
 one-over 72. Sunday's final round was delayed by 2 hours and 40
minutes because of frost. Quinn is attempting to become the first
player in BUY.COM Tour history to successfully defend his title.. Brad
Ott recorded the only hole-in-one at this event last year when he aced
the 13th hole. The par-4, 483-yard 5th hole was the most difficult
hole last year, playing to a scoring average of 4.387 for the week,
making it the 12th most difficult hole on the 2000 BUY.COM Tour. The
purse was increased by $25,000 from last year. This is the first of 29
events on the BUY.COM TOUR schedule for 2001, as they begin their 12th
season. Next week the BUY.COM Tour moves to Mexico for the Monterrey
Open where current PGA Tour player Briny Baird captured the title.
