Defending champion Kirk Triplett, who opened with a 66 to share
the first-round lead, posted a 10-over 81 on Friday that included six
bogeys and four double-bogeys. He finished 36 holes at five-over 147
and missed the cut...The purse was increased by $300,000 from last
year.
