Garcia's aide suffers
buggy accident
Sergio Garcia's build-up for the British
Open was disrupted on Wednesday when a buggy accident left one of his management
team in hospital with a suspected broken ankle.
The accident occurred outside the clubhouse
at the Royal Lytham course when the buggy reversed into a group of people a few
metres from Garcia, leaving Carlos Rodriguez on the floor injured.
Garcia rushed to help and waited with
Rodgriguez until an ambulance arrived to take him to nearby Blackpool Victoria
Hospital.
