Oldcorn & Florioli share 36 hold lead

Andrew Oldcorn of England and Massimo Florioli of Italy shot 7-under-par 65s Friday and share the lead after two rounds of the Madeira Island Open.

Oldcorn had four birdies over the first five holes and collected eight birdies overall, dropping only one shot when he three-putted from 5 feet on his final hole of the day.

Oldcorn and Florioli have two-day totals of 9-under 135.

Olivier David from France, the first-round leader, had a 71 and was two shots behind at 7-under 137.

Maarten Lefeber of the Netherlands, who had a 64 on Friday, Didier De Vooght of Belgium and Benoit Teilleria of France were tied for fourth at 138.

Oldcorn had four birdies from inside 3 feet.

"It's nice to be in this position," Oldcorn said.

Seve Ballesteros shot a 76 to finish 2-over 146, but made the cut by two strokes.
