Maruyama & Micheel share lead
Japan's Shigeki Maruyama and American Shaun Micheel held the lead on seven-under-par 64 after the first round of the Nissan Open was completed on Friday.
Thursday's play was suspended because of darkness with 10 players remaining on the course.

Maruyama and Micheel led by one shot from Hank Kuehne going into the second round.
Kirk Triplett, Fred Couples, Canada's Mike Weir, Australian Robert Allenby and Scott McCarron were another stroke back tied for fourth.
