Rain washes out seconds days play

Annika Sorenstam's quest for a record sixth consecutive victory, in jeopardy after an opening five-over-par 76, was delayed when rain washed out the second round of the Michelob Ultra Open in Williamsburg, Virginia on Friday.

The 34-year-old Swede shares the LPGA Tour record of five wins in a row with Nancy Lopez, who achieved the feat in 1978.

Sorenstam is searching for her first win at the Michelob event, having finished sixth in 2003 and tied for eighth last year.

Catrin Nilsmark of Sweden and Italy's Silvia Cavalleri shared the first-round lead on four-under 67.
