John Daly plays "The Cavern"

"That was cool" said Daly afterwards.

"I was a little bit nervous considering all the great bands that have played here," said Daly.

"But I know I am not that good, so it took the edge off. I will be more nervous at Hoylake when the tournament starts."

Strumming the guitar, Daly got a great cheer for his version of 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' and 'Lost Soul.'

"My game is pretty good. I have been hitting it decent all year," he said. "However, I cannot seem to get the putter going. Getting 69 or 72 these days is just not good enough.

"If I start making some putts, then I could have a chance this week," he added. "I have not been making enough of them to draw some confidence from it. That is the problem."
