South African Anton Haig kept his cool in the scorching Thai heat to win the Johnnie Walker Classic after a three-way playoff on Sunday.
The 20-year-old Haig, who birdied the last to join the leaders at 13 under, steadied his nerves to sink a six-foot birdie putt to beat compatriot Richard Sterne and Englishman Oliver Wilson for his fourth professional victory.
Sterne, the overnight leader, came agonisingly close to winning on his final hole but missed from eight feet to set up the three-way playoff.
Haig's victory makes him the youngest winner of the Johnnie Walker Classic.
