When Bobby Jones won his 'Grand Slam' in 1930, it consisted of the Open Championship, the US Open, the Amateur Championship and the US Amateur. As an amateur he could compete in the US PGA, and The Masters did not yet exist (he would create it in 1934). When counting amateur majors, Tiger Woods has the edge on Jack Nicklaus: 3-2, and other big names appear.

See the combined professional plus amateur major Championship ranking.

Professional major victories

Jack Nicklaus won 18 majors. Tiger Woods has 13 and counting. But do you know which titles they won and when, and who else has more than one major to his name?
