Three unsuccessful attempts to reach the European Tour Qualifying School Finals,
then Eduardo Romero financed the fourth, successful, visit in 1996. Angel had
caddied at Cordoba - Romero's home club - before turning Pro at 20. Shot 61 in
1991 Argentine Open.
Won all his matches in the 1997 Alfred Dunhill Cup, including victories over Ryder
Cup players Brad Faxon and Lee Westwood.
