First Swede to play
Ryder Cup, in 1993, equalled a world record by playing the first nine holes of
the Old Course at St Andrews in 27 shots during the 1997 Alfred Dunhill Cup.
Now resident in Monte Carlo, enjoys fishing as a past time but gave up his first
love, ice hockey, after an accident in 1994, when he dislocated shoulder and broke
