outstanding amateur career including three Walker Cup appearances.
At time of move to the pro ranks he was coached by Howard Bennett at the Newart,
Notts, Club, guided by sport psychologist Dr Aiden Moran and physical fitness
expert Helen Leman and abetted on-course with John O'Reilly, one of Ireland's
most experienced caddies.
