Profile & History

His parents emigrated from Leeds where his father, Don, was a professional. As an amateur in Australia, won the 1990 Victorian Open and came within a whisker of also winning the Australian Open.

Won the 1992 Johnnie Walker Classic in home town of Melbourne in his rookie year before moving to Europe.

A car crash in Spain slowed his progress at the end of 1996 and the start of 1997.
