Langer withdraws from Dunhill Cup

Knokke Le Zoute, Belgium - Bernhard Langer has pulled out of next week's Alfred Dunhill Cup at St Andrews in Scotland because his wife Vikki is ill.

He had pulled out of the Belgian Open in Knokke Le Zoute a few hours before teeing off on Thursday.

Thomas Goegele will join Sven Struver and Alex Cejka in the German team, tournament promoters said on Friday.
