Iain
Pyman rolled in an eight-foot birdie putt on the sixth extra hole of a sudden
death playoff to beat Gustavo Rojas of Argentina for the Challenge de France Bayer
at Golf Disneyland near Paris.
The
26-year-old Yorkshireman had come from four shots back with a 67 to finish tied
with Rojas on 13-under-par 275.
The
pair played the 10th hole three times and the par-5 18th twice before a climax
was reached on the 18th at the third time of asking.
The
victory was Pyman's second Challenge Tour victory of the year and the second playoff
defeat for Rojas. But both players are assured of their cards on the European
Tour next year.
