Magnebrant
surges to victory
Sweden's Pehr Magnebrant claimed his second Challenge Tour victory with a closing
5-under-par 67 Sunday to win the Norwegian Open at Sorknes GC by three strokes.
The 29-year-old finished on 7-under 281 to finish ahead of compatriot Patrik Gottfridson.
Magnebrant started
the final round two shots off the lead but cruised to victory with a superb final
round. Gottfridson shot a 71 to finish ahead of Finland's Mika Gehtinen. South
African Jean Hugo claimed fourth spot with a closing round of 73 for a 2-under-par
